passion and we have been recognized both nationally and internationally
for our efforts.
Tom Francis´s first short, CLICK (2001) won
Best cinematography and Best Soundtrack at the Queensland
New Filmmakers Awards. Click was also a finalist at Fitzroy
shorts 2004 and toured with the Australian National Short
film tour, while THE FINAL ARIA (2002) was awarded First
prize at the 2003 The Best of the Rest film festival at Schonnel
cinemas University of QLD. Tom then went on to make LEAVING
HOPE (2004), which was selected and screened at several film
festivals in the United States including the Rhode Island
film festival and Da Vinci Film Festival, Oregon.. LEAVING
HOPE was also awarded a Highly Commended at the Queensland
New Filmmakers Awards in 2004.
Evan Clarry´s first short film, MATE (1997) won several major awards including "Best
Screenplay" at the 1998 AFI Awards. His next short CRACK won a Gold Award for
Cinematography at the ACS Awards and was If Magazine's Best Short film.
