December show WISH to support FBC:

KILN helped raise over $400 for Friends of the Birth Centre in celebration of the arrival of our son Oskar in 2008.

Donated etchings by Tamsin Ainslie were raffled on the opening night of our December show, WISH, as well as a print by Danielle O'Brien, gift voucher courtesy of Naomi Mawson of Secret Garden Photography.

As the name suggests, KILN is part of the creative process...

KILN’s visual arts division is based at the iconic old Paddington Substation. This famous local landmark, which originally functioned as a tram substation, has been transformed into a contemporary art gallery where we host regular exhibitions of new work by some of Brisbane’s most exciting painters, sculptors, printmakers and ceramicists.

In partnership with Hands On Art, KILN aims to support upcoming artists of the highest standard and offers the opportunity for emerging artists to exhibit alongside more established artists. KILN’s aim with each exhibition is to showcase a diverse but cohesive collection of exciting, inspiring and desirable artworks.

By crossing over with our media and film divisions we are able to promote artists in original ways as well as providing work for professional artists in set design and art-department roles for our corporate film and upcoming feature film projects.

For the corporate client, KILN represents a team of experienced artists who are able to work with interior designers, architects, developers as well as private clients to create distinctive, innovative and creative outcomes to compliment any space.
